We enjoyed a summer-in-October weekend with Kathleen's two sisters and their husbands, full of boating and fishing, eating and drinking, singing and dancing. Ah, it's good to be Irish--our own little ceilidh. By yesterday, the company had left and the weather had turned colder, with occasional drizzle. I got up early and took Kilty's Wake upriver to Pope's Landing, where the the boat was hauled and taken to the winter storage yard. See you in the Spring, Kilty.
We leave Saturday for a week on Block Island, a tiny island off the coast of Rhode Island. I'll be bringing the Nikon and the St. Croix.
